South Dakota Coalition for Companion Animals

Jennifer is a South Dakota native. A pet owner & parent McNamara has a strong belief in making Sioux Falls a better place for kids and the animals they love. With a history that involves working in breed specific rescue, both as a foster and administratively, she is excited to be a part of a group that promotes responsible ownership and education. She feels her community is ready to make humane education a part of their lives, as shown by the great response to the 2009 Bark Rangers events. McNamara lives and works in Sioux Falls.

Tanya is an animal care professional with a decade of formal experience ranging from administration in non-profit animal shelters to clinical work in veterinary hospitals. As the owner of iK9Kare Professional Pet Sitting of Sioux Falls, she combines her high standards of care with her clients need for security when it comes to their pets. As a parent and pet owner, she is passionate about promoting humane education to youth and responsible pet ownership. Utilizing her knowledge of the care-needs of a broad range of pet types, and her formal education in canine & feline behavior, and temperament evaluation, Beckman looks forward to being a resource to the community to help owners optimize the human-animal bond and increase pet retention.
